Meet IELA New President (2025-2029)

Dr Delli Sabudu, S.Pd., M.A., is a lecturer in the Department of English Education at Universitas Negeri Manado. She has been in this position for more than 20 years, which has provided her with extensive experience and a high level of expertise in the field of English education. In addition to her teaching duties, she is an active researcher, with a prolific publication record in esteemed national and international journals, including those indexed by Sinta and Scopus. Her research contributions extend beyond academic publications, as she is also an active speaker at prominent academic conferences. Furthermore, she has a strong publication record, both as an individual and in collaboration with others. In addition to these endeavours, she is actively involved in service activities as one of the Tri Dharma tasks of higher education. Her leadership extends to community organisations, where she serves as a chairman in several such organisations. Her personal motto, “Leaders empower, not deceive”, encapsulates her professional ethos and academic values.In addition to her involvement in language and non-language organisations, she has demonstrated a commitment to professional development. Given her extensive experience, she is well-positioned to guide IELA towards becoming a reputable and competitive organisation in the future.
